The God’s Plan singer has sparked a major frenzy on the internet after posting an Instagram story on June 25, 2026. The story was posted with a picture of a box full of invitations and with the caption, “All my Janices in NY LA MIA TO HOU, Look out for my invitation for Sunday.”

The post indicates that the invitation is going out to the woman named Janice across major cities like New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Toronto and Houston. The event is scheduled for June 28, Sunday. The entry requirement suggests only one thing, that the legal first name should be Janice on Government ID. Only the location for Toronto has been revealed yet, and the rest is yet to be announced.

This made the fans wonder at first about what was going on. But soon they realised the real intentions behind the cryptic post.


This event is mainly called “Janice Apology Parties", as Drake is hosting this as a playful, viral marketing stunt. It is a direct response to his hit single Janice STFU from his album, as the song features a confrontational voice sample telling someone named “Janice” to shut up, which led to online discussion and playful complaints from real-life Janices.
