While the response could simply refer to preparations for the upcoming pre-order launch, many fans believe the wording hints at something bigger.

Given Rockstar's history of pairing major announcements with new promotional material, the cryptic message has only intensified speculation that another GTA 6 trailer could be released alongside the pre-order rollout.

As soon as multiple posts started dropping on social media, it quickly sparked a discussion online. One user shared a thread on Reddit with a caption, "Many thought today would be the day because they usually post on Tuesdays." But today even the RDO post didn't show up, which would probably mean they are keeping a clean slate and schedule to post GTA 6 from now on. While one said, "Pre-ordering without a trailer is them basically treating their dedicated fanbase like shit; no way we get the 'fuck off' from them even on the 25th after all the silent treatment."

"I think trailer 3 on Thursday is very likely from a marketing perspective. Enough time after the Summer Game Fest announcements, they got the stage 100% for themselves right now. I know they are bigger than any other release this year, but some tactical space between announcements is just smart. Taking pre-orders with no new video material wouldn't make sense either," another added.
