Little Brother follows Rudd, played by John Cena (as hinted above), a successful New York real estate broker who appears to have the perfect life. He has a thriving career, a loving wife named Deirdre, played by Michelle Monaghan, and a carefully organised lifestyle where everything is under control.

However, Rudd's peaceful routine is turned upside down when Marcus, portrayed by Eric André, unexpectedly re-enters his life. Now fully grown and just as unpredictable as ever, Marcus arrives without warning and quickly brings chaos into Rudd's carefully structured world.

As Marcus settles into Rudd's home, his carefree personality begins to clash with Rudd's disciplined lifestyle. While he wins over family members with his charm and eccentric behaviour, he also pushes Rudd to his limits, testing his patience, giving him a different outlook on life.



To put it simply, Marcus is not actually Rudd's biological brother. The title Little Brother refers to a mentorship programme they were both part of when they were younger. As a teenager, Rudd volunteered as a "Big Brother" and was paired with a young Marcus Pinchel through the programme.

Years later, Marcus unexpectedly returns and still sees Rudd as an important part of his life. Even though they are not related by blood, Marcus treats Rudd like family and believes they share a special bond because of their past connection.

His sudden return turns Rudd's carefully organised life upside down. Marcus's unpredictable personality creates plenty of chaos and comical awkward situations, but it also forces Rudd to re-evaluate his priorities and relationships.
